Everyone loves receiving sounds that are easy to find and immediately useful, so some things to remember when uploading:

Are your files at a useable volume in relation to the sound source?

Have you removed any extended unnecessary silence or speaking?

Are they named appropriately? There are currently no strict naming conventions to follow but files named like '1.wav' are not ideal, we recommend the UCS system.

Metadata is also extremely useful and allows for your files to be more easily found, please consider embedding at least the key description words that best describe your sounds. We recommend Kai Paquin's approach.

Please have a look at this document for more details and to help make the experience as enjoyable as possible.

If you have any questions about the UCS naming system you can ask them at the dedicated UCS Slack channel or checkout the UCS YouTube channel.
